Amelie Roden is an emerging indie-pop artist from Kent. Since the age of seven, songwriting has been her main way of processing and communicating her thoughts and emotions, allowing her to connect with other people through her music. Her biggest influences include Gracie Abrams, Taylor Swift and Lizzy McAlpine. More recently, she’s begun self-producing her songs to capture the sound she envisions in her head and have full creative control over her music.
She recently played her first headline show at The Grace, London, and supported Chloe Slater on her Southern Youth UK Seaside Tour earlier this year. Her single “collecting dust” was selected as BBC Introducing Record of the Week on BBC Radio Kent, and its music video won Best Music Video at both the LA Femme Film Festival in Los Angeles and the Paris Short Film Festival.
